My review was more critical. So I never posted it ;-)

I wish they'd stayed more true to the essential structure of the original TV series . This felt more like it was trying to Ape Jame's Bond stylism and not really working. Some scenes were just a bit too boring (house-party). I laughed out loud when they lost cell-phone reception in Shanghai. That was not only not-believable it was so obviously a plot suspense holder. Now if the battery had died and they'd had to scramble for another phone that would have been funny. Delibverate humour was sadly lacking. It didn't help that I was looking out for the camera work to see if they were trying to convey cruise as taller. They were. That was humerous in some shots too. What's wrong with actually having a shorter than average hero? Hollywood's heightest!
