We considered asking friends to stop by but a month is a long time to have you stop by every day or so. A cat sitter also grabs mail (and would water the plants if we had any). I do miss them, I know they sulk, don't even come out to play with the generous sitters. Their welcome home is wonderful, they forgive me so quickly, and I have missed thier warm beings.
